To comply with program requirements, the participant MUST
attend and complete the following five core activities within twelve months:
An alcohol and drug assessment
made by one of the counselors at the initial intake interview.
12 hours of education
counseling (6, 2-hour session)
52 hours of group counseling
(26, 2-hour sessions)
26 individual sessions (15 minutes
or longer) during the first twelve months of the program.
In addition, verification of
attendance of twenty-six self-help meetings such as AA, NA or any other group
whose objective is to help the person solve the problem of alcohol or any other
drug.
6 hours once a month groups (1
hour long) during the last six months of the program (ONLY after all core
components have been completed within the first 12 months; in addition to
paying any outstanding balance and absence fees).
All re-entry clients that miss two (2) program
activities in a row will be dismissed from the program and will be referred to
court.
